We don't have a crystal ball, but are pleased to provide a link to what we think is the best regularly-updated assessment of risk that we have seen, namelyh the quarterly Economic and Real Estate Trends from the people who issue PMI. Based on an internally developed PMI model, their report includes commentary on the national economy and regional housing price trends, and a ranking of risk for the 50 most populated metropolitan areas. Crime Data

Did you know that the City of Chicago maintains a data base on all reported crimes? Citizen ICAM enables you to search the Chicago Police Department's database of reported crime. You will be able to see maps, graphs, and tables of reported crime. Data is refreshed daily, however, the most recent information is back-dated 7 days from today's date.
